BREAKING: Studio Zag, the force behind the hit franchise “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir,” has just announced an exciting collaboration with former F1 driver Carmen Jorda to produce “Car Men,” a groundbreaking animated feature film celebrating women in motorsports. This project aims to empower and inspire Gen Z audiences through action-packed storytelling and relatable themes.

The film, set to encompass a broader franchise that includes scripted content and consumer products, will follow Jorda’s journey as she navigates a challenging racing landscape filled with pressure and heartbreak. “Carmen must push beyond her limits to reclaim her dream and discover who she truly is,” reads the project synopsis.

Jeremy Zag, co-creator and producer, emphasized the importance of creating inspirational heroes for the younger generation. “When I met Carmen, her journey and perseverance impressed and inspired me. I’m excited to let her personal story guide us as we imagine a new hero for tomorrow,” he stated.

Jorda, who made history as the 11th woman to join a Formula 1 team, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership. “Racing has shaped my life. Partnering with Zag means turning my passion into a story that can inspire millions of young girls around the world. I want them to know they can dream big, fight hard, and take their place on the track,” she said.

Notably, Zag has enlisted a powerhouse team to bring “Car Men” to life. Michael Gracey, renowned for “The Greatest Showman,” is on board as a producer, alongside Tyler Thompson of Cross Creek Pictures, known for hits like “Black Swan.” Andrea Puig, a former executive at HBO Max and Netflix, will serve as executive producer, adding significant industry expertise to the project.

The film’s emotional resonance is underscored by Gracey’s comments on Jorda’s resilience. He stated, “Carmen’s journey boasts a story of resilience and unwavering self-belief, even in the face of tempting limitations. Her fearlessness and ambition embody the qualities of true heroes.”

The growing recognition of women in motorsports, highlighted by recent projects such as Reese Witherspoon’s docuseries on female F1 drivers, further underscores the timely relevance of this film.

Zag is also gearing up for a sequel to “Miraculous,” which grossed over $40 million globally in 2023, confirming its massive appeal across multiple regions, including Netflix’s international audience.

As this project develops, all eyes will be on how “Car Men” captures the spirit of women in motorsports and inspires future generations. Expect more updates as production progresses and the release date approaches. This is a story you won’t want to miss!
