UPDATE: On November 11, 2023, numerous restaurants across the United States are stepping up to honor veterans and active-duty service members with free meals and significant discounts. In a unique twist, Blaze Pizza will not only serve veterans a free one-topping pizza but will also donate $1 from every pizza sold on Veterans Day to Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides educational scholarships to military families.
For those craving a sweet treat, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse is giving veterans and active-duty military a free chocolate chunk Pizookie when they dine in and purchase an entree.
Other notable mentions include Dog Haus, offering a free Haus Dog, and Texas Roadhouse, where veterans can pick up a meal voucher from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a later date.
