Erie County Invests $47.5 Million in Urgent Road Improvements
UPDATE: Erie County officials have just announced a groundbreaking investment of $47.5 million in road infrastructure for 2025, marking a significant milestone in the county’s ongoing commitment to enhancing public safety and mobility. County Executive Mark Poloncarz emphasized that this investment includes the critical rehabilitation of Maryvale Drive in Cheektowaga, a project valued at $5.5 million.
This monumental effort has resulted in the improvement of 117 miles of roads and five bridges across the county, addressing vital transportation needs for residents and motorists. “2025 continued my administration’s history of significant investments in public infrastructure,” Poloncarz stated. “We are committed to providing the best and safest routes possible.”
