URGENT UPDATE: A fifth death has been confirmed at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, marking a troubling series of fatalities in less than a month. The Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office reported the latest incident occurred on November 8, 2023, at the Saratoga Springs Resort. Details surrounding this death remain unclear, adding to the growing concerns about safety at the popular destination.

This disturbing trend includes four previous fatalities, two of which have been identified as apparent suicides. On October 14, a 31-year-old woman tragically died by suicide at the Contemporary Resort. Just a week later, on October 21, a man in his 60s suffered a medical episode and died at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

The situation escalated further when a 28-year-old man, identified as Matthew Cohn, died by suicide after jumping from a height at the Contemporary Resort on October 28. Additionally, on November 2, a woman in her 40s was transported to Celebration Hospital where she later died.
