Private Trust Co. Reduces Stake in iShares S&P Mid-Cap 400 Growth ETF
Private Trust Co. NA has reduced its holdings in the iShares S&P Mid-Cap 400 Growth ETF (NYSEARCA:IJK) by 15.5% during the second quarter of 2023. According to a report from HoldingsChannel.com, the firm now owns 9,809 shares of the ETF, following the sale of 1,795 shares in the period. At the close of the most recent quarter, the value of Private Trust Co. NA’s holdings stood at approximately $892,000.
Several other institutional investors have also adjusted their positions in the iShares S&P Mid-Cap 400 Growth ETF recently. Brighton Jones LLC increased its stake by 21.5% in the fourth quarter, now holding 7,269 shares valued at $661,000 after acquiring an additional 1,285 shares. Janney Montgomery Scott LLC initiated a new position in the ETF during the first quarter, amounting to approximately $3,994,000. Similarly, Sowell Financial Services LLC and Kingswood Wealth Advisors LLC made new investments worth about $406,000 and $268,000, respectively. Envestnet Portfolio Solutions Inc. also increased its position by 9.4%, now owning 55,416 shares valued at $4,615,000.
Institutional investors and hedge funds currently control 67.99% of the iShares S&P Mid-Cap 400 Growth ETF’s shares, indicating robust interest from larger investment entities.
The iShares S&P Mid-Cap 400 Growth ETF saw a slight increase of 0.1% in its trading price, opening at $94.63 on Friday. The ETF has a market capitalization of $8.93 billion, a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 22.45, and a beta of 1.08. Its fifty-day simple moving average stands at $95.35, while the 200-day simple moving average is at $90.35. Over the past twelve months, the ETF has experienced a low of $71.69 and a high of $100.01.
