Prince Andrew’s Secret Life: Allegations of Prostitution at Buckingham

A recent report has unveiled disturbing claims about Prince Andrew’s activities within Buckingham Palace, suggesting he frequently brought prostitutes into the royal residence. This revelation, made by historian Andrew Lownie, has raised serious questions about the former Duke of York’s conduct and the extent of awareness within the royal family.

According to Lownie, who authored the book “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” these incidents occurred over several years, and it is alleged that Queen Elizabeth II was aware of her son’s actions. Lownie discussed these claims during an interview with NewsNation’s Paula Froelich, stating, “He brought in prostitutes to Buckingham Palace for years. It was done on a regular basis.”

Lownie recounted that palace staff had raised concerns about these activities but were met with indifference from their superiors. He mentioned, “People who worked there complained to people in command, but nothing was done — the security that complained were told, ‘If you would like to go back on the beat in Brixton, you have that choice, but otherwise you keep quiet.’”

The allegations have gained further traction following the recent removal of Andrew’s royal titles. On November 3, 2022, King Charles stripped Andrew of his “His Royal Highness” and “Prince” titles amidst ongoing allegations relating to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These allegations include claims made by Epstein’s victim, Virginia Giuffre, who alleged in her memoir that she was coerced into sexual encounters with Andrew when she was just 17 years old.

Lownie asserts that former palace employees are now more willing to share their experiences following Andrew’s loss of royal protection. “I am getting more and more information every day from people who worked at the Palace and in the government — they are no longer scared to talk or come out and tell the world what really happened now that Andrew has been removed from power,” he explained.

Moreover, Lownie provided shocking details regarding Andrew’s behavior during a trip to Thailand, claiming that as many as 40 prostitutes were delivered to his hotel room. This aspect of Andrew’s life starkly contrasts with the royal family’s public image and raises further scrutiny regarding the monarchy’s handling of such allegations.

In a statement made shortly before the release of Giuffre’s memoir on October 17, 2022, Andrew expressed his intention to relinquish his titles. He stated, “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first.”

The claims surrounding Prince Andrew’s conduct at Buckingham Palace present a significant challenge to the royal family’s reputation. As investigations continue, public interest remains piqued by these revelations. The Daily Mail has also reported on these developments, indicating that the fallout from Andrew’s actions is likely to persist.

Buckingham Palace has yet to comment on these allegations, leaving the royal institution’s response to a growing scandal uncertain. The implications of these claims extend beyond personal misconduct, touching on broader issues of accountability and transparency within the monarchy.
