A new documentary titled “The Age of Disclosure” alleges that former U.S. President George H.W. Bush had knowledge of extraterrestrial contact with humans. The film, which premiered on Amazon Prime on October 6, 2023, features interviews claiming that Bush informed a federal official about an encounter involving aliens at a secretive air base in New Mexico in 1964.

Astrophysicist Eric Davis, who served as a scientific adviser on the now-defunct Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), asserts that during a private conversation, Bush revealed that an alien had made contact with military personnel at Holloman Air Force Base in Otero County. “One of them landed on the tarmac and a non-human entity deboarded the craft that landed and interacted with uniformed Air Force and civilian CIA personnel,” Davis claims in the documentary. He further stated that when Bush sought additional information, he was told he did not have a “need-to-know.”

The documentary indicates that Bush was briefed on the incident after leaving the presidency. Davis mentions that their discussions took place in 2003, a period when Bush was a former naval aviator and had previously served as the director of the CIA from 1976 to 1977. Despite the intriguing claims, Davis did not offer a description of the alien aircraft nor provide any physical evidence to substantiate his assertions.

Dan Farah, the documentary’s director, engaged with 34 high-ranking officials from the U.S. government, military, and intelligence sectors. The focus was on those who professed to have direct knowledge of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs). The film also highlights a purported top-secret government program, referred to as the Legacy Program, designed for UAP retrieval operations. While the officials featured in the documentary voiced their experiences, they did not present new physical evidence regarding the existence of extraterrestrials or UAPs.

Davis contends that alien bodies were recovered in Russia in 1988, having been retrieved from the wreckage of a large tic-tac-shaped UAP. Another participant in the film, Hal Puthoff, a former AATIP member and quantum physicist, suggested that multiple types of extraterrestrials exist. “The bodies recovered are not all the same type,” Puthoff stated, although he refrained from elaborating on the specifics. He concluded with the assertion, “Whoever it is — they’re here, and they’ve been operating here for a long time.”

The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was initiated by Congress in 2007 under the late Senator Harry Reid. Its purpose was to study UFOs, now classified as UAPs, through an unclassified but not publicly disclosed government initiative. The program was active from 2007 to 2012, operating under the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) with a funding allocation of approximately $22 million over its five-year duration.

The conversation surrounding UAPs and potential extraterrestrial encounters continues to capture public interest, with this documentary reigniting debates on government transparency and the implications of such claims.
