Mapa Broker Unveils Innovative App at Harvard’s World Leaders Congress
Mapa Broker showcased its innovative collaboration with Copart at the World Leaders Congress held at Harvard University on October 9–10, 2025. Co-founder Erika Rodríguez delivered a compelling presentation titled “The Business of Second Chances: Car Auctions,” which explored the transformative nature of the automotive industry and the potential for reinvention in both business and life.
In her address, Rodríguez drew parallels between cars that go to auction and the opportunities individuals have to start afresh. She emphasized how Mapa’s vision has empowered thousands of Latinos in the United States to engage with and thrive in the car auction business. “Just as cars have a second chance at auctions, people also have the power and the right to reinvent ourselves,” she stated, addressing a diverse audience of global business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Announcement of the Mapa App
The congress marked a significant milestone for Mapa Broker, as it was announced that the company has become Copart’s first Latin partner. Copart is recognized as the largest car auction company in the United States. Together, they are developing the Mapa App, designed to enhance access to the car auction market for the Hispanic community.
During her presentation, Rodríguez unveiled a visual prototype of the app through an interactive landing page, allowing attendees to explore its functionality and design. The initial version, set to launch in December 2025, will utilize artificial intelligence created by Mapa to offer clear, real-time information in Spanish about vehicles listed on Copart. Additionally, users will receive personalized support from Mapa representatives, enabling anyone—regardless of whether they are a dealer or possess a license—to participate directly in auctions.
Future Developments and Community Impact
The second version of the Mapa App is scheduled for release in May 2026, introducing advanced features such as a cost calculator, a digital wallet, and the ability to place bids directly from the app. This comprehensive approach aims to provide a transparent and accessible auction experience.
Rodríguez expressed the significance of Mapa’s presence at Harvard, stating, “Reaching the prestigious Harvard University with a project that was built from scratch—with dedication, purpose, and community—is living proof that dreams can’t be bought: they are built with effort, consistency, and faith.” This participation underscores Mapa Broker’s commitment to innovation, education, and digital inclusion in the automotive sector.
With the introduction of the Mapa App, the company aims to democratize the car auction landscape, creating more opportunities for the Latino community in the United States. Mapa Broker and Copart are poised to leverage technology and community engagement to foster growth and second chances for individuals in this sector.
