Local Leader Jim Messa Endorsed for New Hartford Supervisor
A public endorsement has emerged for Jim Messa, a candidate for town supervisor in New Hartford. Jamie Maiolo, a former colleague, expressed strong support for Messa based on their extensive professional relationship spanning over two decades.
Maiolo, who worked directly under Messa for eight years while he served as vice president at their previous employer, described him as a leader with vision and integrity. “I watched Jim grow within the company — from a sales representative to a manager and ultimately to a vice president — always leading by example,” Maiolo stated.
The endorsement highlights Messa’s leadership qualities, emphasizing his commitment to professionalism and fairness. Maiolo reflected on their experiences traveling across the country together, noting that he learned invaluable lessons about stewardship and leadership during this time.
Messa’s ability to face challenges head-on earned him respect among his colleagues. Maiolo remarked on how Messa balanced thoughtful delegation with a hands-on approach, often working alongside his team during difficult situations. “Under his guidance, I gained confidence and learned the value of perseverance during challenging times,” he added.
Maiolo believes that the same qualities that made Messa a successful leader in the corporate world — integrity, determination, and steady leadership — will greatly benefit the New Hartford community. “While I may not be a resident of New Hartford, I’ve seen firsthand the kind of leader Jim is. I have no doubt he will serve your community with the same fairness and dedication he brought to our workplace every day,” he concluded.
As the election for town supervisor approaches, Messa’s endorsement may play a significant role in shaping public perception and garnering support from local residents.
