Walmart Launches Early Black Friday Deals with Major Discounts
Walmart has kicked off its Black Friday sales earlier than ever, featuring significant discounts across a wide array of products, including electronics, appliances, furniture, and beauty items. The retail giant has organized its Black Friday event into three distinct sales periods, branded as “Whoknewville.” The first event ran from November 14 to 16, available both in-store and online, while the upcoming sales will occur from November 25 to 30 and again on December 1, coinciding with Cyber Monday.
According to John Furner, Walmart’s president and CEO, the company’s longstanding dominance in Black Friday sales is evident this year. Furner stated, “For years, Walmart has owned Black Friday—and this year we’re proving why. We’re dropping up to 60% off top brands and offering thousands of deals under $20, making it clear: nobody does low prices like we do.”
Walmart’s strategy allows customers to save without the stress of crowded stores. The first sale has concluded, but shoppers can prepare for the next event, which runs from November 25 to 30. A notable advantage for Walmart+ members is the early access to deals starting from November 24 at 19:00 ET, giving them a head start on popular items likely to sell out quickly.
On Black Friday, Walmart will open its doors early, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, while remaining closed on Thanksgiving Day. To enhance convenience, the retailer offers curbside pickup, Express Delivery in under 30 minutes, and two-day shipping. These services are primarily available for Walmart+ members, who may find it beneficial to subscribe before the Black Friday events.
Shoppers can expect opportunities to find deals on everything from smart TVs to Christmas gifts and essential household items. With a well-structured approach to Black Friday, Walmart aims to cater to diverse customer needs while reinforcing its reputation as a low-price leader in the retail sector.
