UPDATE: Free Thanksgiving meals are being served across Boulder County today as local organizations come together to celebrate the holiday with generosity and community spirit. This is an urgent reminder for those in need to take advantage of these wonderful offerings!

LONGMONT: The OUR Center at 220 Collyer St. will host its annual Thanksgiving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy a festive meal while connecting with others in the community.

BOULDER: The Second Baptist Church is set to serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal at two locations. Meals will be provided at 8:30 a.m. at 1212 Canyon Blvd. and at 9:00 a.m. at 5300 Baseline Road. In a thoughtful gesture, guests experiencing homelessness can also receive clothing and essential supplies at both sites.

Meanwhile, the Unity of Boulder Spiritual Center at 2855 Folsom St. invites everyone to its annual Thanksgiving community potluck dinner from noon to 4:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.

LOUISVILLE: After the Louisville Turkey Trot, which begins at 9:00 a.m. near Walnut and Front streets, participants can enjoy refreshments including hot chocolate and coffee. Proceeds from the race benefit Community Food Share, emphasizing the spirit of giving this Thanksgiving.

In NIWOT, the Niwot Community Connection group will host a Thanksgiving potluck meal at Niwot Hall, located at 195 Second Ave., from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Community members are encouraged to come together and share in the feast.

These events not only provide meals but also create safe spaces for connection and support during the holiday season. With a focus on community, these meals help ensure that everyone can partake in the joy of Thanksgiving.
