BREAKING: A 51-year-old woman from Millville, New Jersey, was arrested Monday afternoon for threatening a U-Haul employee with an expandable baton. The incident unfolded at 4:20 PM at the U-Haul Moving and Storage facility located at 825 N. Pearl Street in Bridgeton, prompting an urgent response from local police.

According to Bridgeton Police, they received a call reporting that Nantonya Mangini was brandishing a baton and threatening to assault a worker. Officers arrived on the scene to find Mangini actively threatening the employee while holding the baton. Despite police orders to drop the weapon, she refused and attempted to walk away multiple times, maintaining her grip on the baton.

After a tense standoff, Mangini eventually complied and dropped the baton, leading to her immediate arrest. She was taken to the Bridgeton Police Department, where she faces serious charges, including obstruction, terroristic threats, and weapons charges. Additionally, she is charged with failing to allow police to fingerprint her during the booking process.

Authorities report that Mangini is currently being held at the Cumberland County jail as she awaits her court appearance. This incident raises concerns about public safety and the use of weapons in everyday disputes, highlighting the potential for violence in seemingly routine situations.

Residents in the area are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. As this story develops, further updates will be provided.
