Jamestown Students Celebrate Graduation at NSU’s Winter Commencement

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Students from the Jamestown area received their degrees during the Winter Commencement at Northern State University on December 13, 2023. The ceremony took place in the Johnson Fine Arts Center, where graduates were recognized for their academic achievements and hard work.

Among the graduates, Hannah Murchie completed a Bachelor of Science in accounting, graduating with honors as magna cum laude. Her accomplishment highlights a commitment to excellence in her field.

From Kulm, Jennifer Geiszler graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. Her degree reflects a growing interest in mental health and the supportive roles that psychology plays in society today.

Also marking a significant achievement, Zachary Thielges from LaMoure earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. This degree positions him well for future opportunities in healthcare and environmental sciences.
