Upcoming Public Meetings Scheduled for Astoria and Warrenton
Several public meetings are scheduled for the coming days in Astoria and Warrenton, aimed at discussing local governance and community issues. Citizens are encouraged to participate in these gatherings to voice their opinions and stay informed.
Meetings on January 27, 2026
On Tuesday, January 27, the Sunset Empire Transportation District Board will convene for a special meeting at noon. This gathering will take place at the Astoria Transit Center, located at 900 Marine Drive. Later that evening, the Warrenton City Commission will meet at 6 p.m. in the Warrenton City Hall, situated at 225 S. Main Ave.. Concurrently, the Astoria Traffic Safety Advisory Committee and the Astoria Planning Commission will hold their meetings at 5:30 p.m. at Astoria City Hall, located at 1095 Duane St.. The Planning Commission meeting will follow the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee session.
Upcoming Events on January 28 and February 2-4, 2026
On Wednesday, January 28, the Warrenton-Hammond School District Board will gather at 6 p.m. in the Warrenton High School Library, found at 1700 S. Main Ave.. Additionally, the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners will hold a meeting at 5 p.m. in the Judge Guy Boyington Building, located at 857 Commercial St..
Moving to Monday, February 2, the Astoria City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the same location as the previous meetings, Astoria City Hall. The following day, on February 3, residents can join the Coffee with the Mayor event from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Seaside Coffee House, located at 5 N. Holladay Drive. That evening, the Astoria Library Board will convene at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Flag Room, located at 450 Tenth St. The Port of Astoria Commission will also meet at 4 p.m. in their offices at 422 Gateway Ave., Suite 100.
Finally, on Wednesday, February 4, the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners will conduct a work session at 10:30 a.m.. A Zoom link for this session can be found on the Clatsop County website. Additionally, the Gearhart City Council will meet at 6 p.m. at Gearhart City Hall, located at 698 Pacific Way.
Residents are encouraged to attend these meetings to engage with local leaders and contribute to community discussions.
