Tom Malinowski Concedes to Analilia Mejia in NJ Primary Election

Former Representative Tom Malinowski has conceded to Analilia Mejia in the special primary election held in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District. This election was called to fill the seat vacated by Governor Mikie Sherrill. Malinowski was one of 11 candidates vying for the Democratic nomination, with Mejia narrowly leading the race.

As the results became clear, Malinowski expressed his congratulations to Mejia and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting her campaign in the upcoming general election scheduled for April 16, 2024. “I congratulate Analilia Mejia on her hard-won victory in the NJ-11 special primary,” he stated. “It is essential that we send a Democrat to Washington to fill this seat, not a rubber stamp for Donald Trump.”
