Kimball High School has clinched its ninth state championship title in boys basketball, defeating Fort Bend Crawford 49-32 in the Class 4A Division I state championship game held on March 13, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. This victory marks Kimball’s third state title since 2023 and places them just one title behind the UIL state record.

Under the guidance of veteran coach Nicke Smith, Kimball showcased its dominance throughout the game.
