Nominations Open for Great Bend Chamber’s 2026 Annual Awards
Nominations for the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce 2026 Annual Awards are officially open. This initiative aims to recognize outstanding contributions from both businesses and individuals within the Great Bend community. The Chamber invites submissions across three distinct categories, each celebrating excellence in various fields.
The Business of the Year Award honors Chamber members who demonstrate exceptional customer service, growth, innovation, community involvement, and resilience. This award highlights businesses that not only thrive in their industries but also contribute positively to the community’s fabric.
The Citizen of the Year Award seeks to recognize individuals who exhibit remarkable leadership and commitment. This award acknowledges those whose efforts have made a lasting impact on Great Bend, showcasing the importance of individual contributions to community development.
Another key category is the NextGen Leader of the Year Award, presented by FUEL Barton County. This award focuses on emerging leaders who are shaping the future of Great Bend with their vision and dedication. It is designed to encourage and celebrate the next generation of leadership in the region.
Nominations can be submitted online at greatbend.org/awardprograms until December 12, 2025. The winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Ceremony scheduled for February 28, 2026. Registration and sponsorship opportunities for the event will be made available soon, providing additional avenues for community involvement.
These awards not only recognize achievements but also foster a sense of community spirit, encouraging more individuals and businesses to engage actively in Great Bend’s growth and success. The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce continues to support and celebrate the contributions of its members, emphasizing the importance of recognition in motivating continued excellence in the community.
