Sioux Central’s girls’ cross-country team claimed the title at the Twin Lakes Conference (TLC) meet held on October 5, 2023. Competing at their home course, the Little Sioux River Golf & Country Club, the Rebel girls showcased remarkable performance, placing three runners in the top ten to secure a commanding victory.

The Rebel ladies finished the race with a total score of 34 points, significantly ahead of their closest competitors, Manson-NW Webster, who trailed with 74 points. This impressive margin of 40 points underscores the strength of Sioux Central’s team, which has consistently performed well throughout the season.

In individual standings, standout performances included several Rebel runners who demonstrated their competitive edge. The first-place finisher was Megan Smith, who crossed the finish line in a remarkable time of 19:50.
