This victory keeps UWS firmly in the race for the UMAC title with a record of 12-6 and 10-0 in conference play.
Meanwhile, the women’s soccer team rebounded from an early setback to defeat Minnesota Morris 4-1 on the same day. After falling behind in the ninth minute, UWS rallied, with Niamh Larson scoring the equalizer in the 35th minute. Goals from Kamryn Hill, Brynn Johnson, and Brook Judnick sealed the victory, bringing their record to 8-5-4 and 7-0-3 in UMAC action.
