Orioles Announce Exciting 2026 Promotions Featuring Holliday Bobblehead
The Baltimore Orioles unveiled their promotional schedule for the 2026 season, highlighting a special bobblehead featuring rookie sensation Jackson Holliday and his dog, Coconut. This collectible will be distributed on April 11 when the Orioles host the San Francisco Giants at Camden Yards. The announcement signals an engaging season ahead for fans and highlights Holliday’s unique bond with his canine companion.
Holliday has shown a remarkable affinity for performing well during “Bark at Oriole Park” nights, particularly with Coconut by his side. In April, he hit a grand slam against the Cleveland Guardians, with Coconut in attendance alongside his wife, Chloe. During a postgame interview, Holliday remarked, “Thanks, Coconut,” humorously adding that the slam was “just for Coconut, not the team.” This lighthearted moment exemplifies the camaraderie between the player and his pet, which has endeared him to fans.
Promotional Highlights for the 2026 Season
The Orioles will offer a total of 27 promotions throughout their 81-game home schedule in 2026. The season will kick off with the home opener against the Minnesota Twins on March 26, with the first pitch scheduled for 15:05.
In addition to Holliday’s bobblehead, other notable giveaways include those featuring Samuel Basallo on May 23, Jordan Westburg during Star Wars weekend on May 30, and Gunnar Henderson on June 27. Westburg, an enthusiastic fan of the Star Wars franchise, joins a growing trend of themed promotions, as shown by the previous year’s Star Wars bobbleheads for players Colton Cowser and Henderson.
The popular Hawaiian shirt giveaways will take place on July 24 and 25. Following the success of one Hawaiian shirt day in past seasons, the Orioles have decided to expand this event to include a children’s Hawaiian shirt giveaway on July 26.
Additional Fan Engagement Initiatives
Fans can also look forward to a variety of other giveaways, including a Kyle Bradish jersey hoodie on March 28, an Orioles hockey jersey on April 25, and a Pride Night jersey on June 26. Additional items include a beach towel on June 28 and a floppy hat on July 10. New for 2026 are a denim crab cap on May 1, hot dog race caps on July 11, and a Hispanic heritage jersey on September 18.
A fan choice giveaway is also scheduled for September 19 as part of Fan Appreciation Weekend, allowing fans to select a giveaway for that day. This initiative reflects the Orioles’ commitment to enhancing the fan experience and fostering community engagement.
As the 2026 season approaches, the Baltimore Orioles are poised to captivate fans with an array of promotions that celebrate both the team and its loyal supporters. The combination of engaging items and the spirited atmosphere at Camden Yards promises an exciting year ahead for baseball enthusiasts.
