Nurture Salon Celebrates 10 Years with New Location in Henderson
Nurture Salon and Skin Care Studio has marked its 10th anniversary by relocating to a larger space at 3005 F St. in Henderson Center. The move, announced earlier this month, reflects the salon’s growth and commitment to enhancing the client experience.
Owner Rachael Simon, an aesthetician with 21 years of experience, leads a team of skilled professionals dedicated to providing high-quality beauty services. The staff includes Lexi Landowski, a certified Eufora colorist and hair care stylist; Stefani Carlson, an expert nail technician and esthetician; Leslie Ostrom, who specializes in Eufora hair care and waxing services; Nicole McCauley, a manicure and pedicure specialist; and Barb MacTurk, an experienced massage therapist.
Simon expressed excitement about the new team members and the expanded space, stating, “I’m so excited to add Leslie, Nicole and Barb to our team, and having more space allows us to elevate our clients’ experience.” The updated location aims to enhance the offerings and comfort for clients seeking a range of beauty treatments.
In a related community effort, Compass Community Credit Union has taken significant steps to support breast cancer awareness and research. Throughout October, members were invited to purchase pink ribbons for a $5 donation at any Compass branch. Each ribbon displayed the name of an individual honored by the donor, creating a visible testament to the community’s support.
The initiative culminated in a presentation where Compass matched all donations, resulting in a total contribution of $1,000 to the local American Cancer Society in Eureka. LeeAnne Zeck, senior manager of the American Cancer Society, expressed gratitude for Compass’s support. “On behalf of the American Cancer Society, we are so grateful to Compass Community Credit Union for their generous $1,000 donation. Their support helps us continue making a positive impact on our community,” she stated.
Compass Community Credit Union serves members across Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties, showcasing a strong commitment to community engagement and support.
