DART Offers Free Rides on New Year’s Eve with Molson Coors
Partygoers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area can celebrate the arrival of 2026 without the worry of transportation costs, thanks to a collaboration between the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and the Molson Coors Beverage Company. On New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025, DART will provide free rides from 18:00 to the end of its regular service, around 01:00.
This initiative is part of Molson Coors’ longstanding Free Rides program, which has provided nearly 10 million free rides across the United States since its inception in 1988. Riders in Dallas can take advantage of this offer by downloading the DART GoPass® app and using the code COORSNYE25. The first 10,500 users to redeem this offer will receive fare-free rides.
The free rides apply to a wide range of transportation options, including local buses, light rail, regional rail services, the TRE commuter rail, GoLink on-demand service, and paratransit services. This ensures that riders can move around the city without needing to leave early or compromise their plans.
According to Alison Hanrahan, community affairs manager at Molson Coors, “DART is an integral part of how Dallas stays connected, and we’re proud to partner with them once again to help people get home safely this New Year’s Eve.”
In 2024, the Free Rides program reached its highest ridership year, with over 440,000 rides provided nationwide. The program is not limited to Dallas; it also offers free rides in cities such as Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C.
Residents and visitors in Dallas can explore routes and plan their free rides using the resources available at Dart.org/NYE or directly through the GoPass® app. This partnership not only promotes safe travel but also enhances the community’s connectivity during one of the year’s most festive celebrations.
