Dine Brands, the parent company of both IHOP and Applebee’s, has filed the necessary permits for this new venture. In a conversation with Jim Darby, a representative from Dine Brands, it was confirmed that a new location is indeed in the works, although specific details regarding the opening date remain undisclosed.

Earlier this year, Dine Brands launched its first dual-branded Applebee’s and IHOP restaurant in Seguin, Texas, signaling a growing trend in the restaurant industry.

Franchisee Danny Hakim operates several IHOP and Applebee’s locations in the San Antonio area and is listed as the tenant for this upcoming establishment. While inquiries were made to Hakim about plans for the new site, responses were not available by the time of publication.
