United Way Gala Raises $270,000, Honors Community Leaders

In 2019, she began preparing meals at Bread of Life and later emerged as a volunteer leader, revitalizing the struggling soup kitchen.

The Chair’s Award was bestowed upon William Dudley, chairman of the St. Johns County Veterans Council. A retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, Dudley devoted nearly 45 years to the aerospace industry. Following his retirement, he became a staunch advocate for veterans, contributing to initiatives such as the Veterans Treatment Court and the Veterans Village for formerly homeless veterans, as well as improving veteran access to healthcare.
