Team members at Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ Moultrie Complex have pledged close to $93,000 to support the initiatives of the United Way of Colquitt County during the 2025 employee giving campaign. This contribution comprises over $75,000 from employee donations and a $17,000 corporate gift from Wayne-Sanderson Farms, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to the United Way’s mission of enhancing lives through education, health, and financial stability programs.

Community Impact and Long-Standing Commitment

Keisly Exum, assistant human resources manager at the Moultrie Complex and a member of the 2025 United Way Board, expressed pride in the partnership with United Way. “Our team members continue to demonstrate their generosity and compassion year after year, and this campaign reflects how deeply they care about supporting our neighbors in need,” Exum stated.

The Moultrie Complex has been a steadfast supporter of the United Way for nearly two decades, consistently ranking among the organization’s top local contributors. In previous years, the complex and its legacy operations have collectively donated over $100,000 annually through a combination of employee contributions and corporate matching gifts.

Strengthening Community Bonds

Caroline Horne, executive director of the United Way of Colquitt County, emphasized the significance of long-term partnerships in creating meaningful change. “As executive director, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand the impact of long-term partnerships. Wayne-Sanderson’s nearly two decades of support for United Way of Colquitt County has helped strengthen families, uplift our neighbors, and create lasting change throughout our community,” Horne remarked.

The continued support from Wayne-Sanderson Farms not only illustrates the company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility but also highlights the collective effort of the Moultrie Complex team in making a positive difference in their community. The 2025 employee giving campaign further exemplifies how local businesses can contribute to the welfare of their neighborhoods, ensuring essential services remain accessible to those in need.
