In a conversation with SportBible, McIntyre shared his vision of hosting a future WrestleMania in his home country of Scotland. He recalled his aspirations dating back to 2019, when he expressed a desire to win the Royal Rumble, claim the championship, and celebrate with a parade across the UK as the first British champion.

“I’ve been wanting to do this [return home with the title] since 2019,” McIntyre stated. “I think I started talking about it going into the Royal Rumble in 2020 when I won. I want to win the title, get an open-top bus, and parade it around the UK.”

McIntyre elaborated on his plans, mentioning potential venues like Murrayfield Stadium, where he believes fans would travel not only from the UK but from around the globe. He expressed excitement about showcasing Scotland’s beautiful scenery and engaging with fans during media events, possibly at iconic locations such as Edinburgh Castle.

“I cannot wait to do media on top of Edinburgh Castle or something,” he added. “I’ll be there for WrestleMania, and it would be amazing to see the football games, a few Rangers games. We’ll finally be back on form after a disastrous start to the season.”
