The Eagles’ general manager, Howie Roseman, emphasized that the team is willing to endure the challenges of hiring a new coordinator if it means achieving further success. During a press conference at the NovaCare Complex, he stated, “It’s a great compliment when guys get head coaching jobs from here, because it means we’re having tremendous success.”

Roseman acknowledged the urgency to win, saying, “If that comes with the ramifications that we lose good people because they’ve earned head coaching jobs, we’ll live with that.” This reflects the organizational mindset that prioritizes winning over long-term continuity in coaching positions.

The Eagles are now focused on finding an established and innovative external candidate who can maximize the talents of key players like Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, and A.J. Brown.
