Doncic started strong, scoring 20 points in the first quarter, marking the third time in four games he reached that threshold in the opening frame. The teams were tied at 31-31 before the Suns took control, outscoring the Lakers 35-21 in the second quarter.

Turnover Troubles and Defensive Challenges

Throughout the second quarter, Doncic struggled, committing four turnovers while teammate Austin Reaves added four of his five turnovers.
