As the season of Lent progresses, numerous chain restaurants are introducing special fish and seafood offerings to cater to customers observing dietary restrictions. These promotions, which run until Easter Sunday on March 31, 2024, feature a variety of dishes at various price points. Below is a roundup of the latest seafood offerings from popular dining chains across the country.

Arby’s has introduced its Crispy Fish Sandwich, featuring a fish fillet topped with shredded lettuce and tartar sauce on a toasted sesame bun. Customers can purchase the sandwich alone for approximately $5.89 or opt for a combo meal, the “Meat & 3,” that includes curly fries, two mozzarella sticks, and a small soft drink for $7.99. Additionally, the chain offers a King’s Hawaiian Fish Deluxe sandwich, which includes cheddar cheese and tomato on a King’s Hawaiian roll for $6.99.
Benihana, known for its interactive dining experience, is promoting a “Bounty of the Seven Seas” menu through April 5. This special menu features items such as Lobster & Shrimp Gyoza with ponzu lime sauce for $19, Lobster Fried Rice for $21, and a Hibachi Bounty of the Seas platter, which includes shrimp, scallops, snapper, and calamari for $42.
Burger King is bringing back its Big Fish sandwich, made with white Alaskan pollock, priced at about $4.69. Meanwhile, Dairy Queen is offering a Popcorn Shrimp Basket, which includes fries, for around $9.49.
At Farmer Boys, diners can enjoy a two-piece Beer-Battered Fish Box that comes with fries and a small soft drink for $9.99. An extra piece is available for $11.99, while a four-piece platter with a salad is priced at approximately $14.99. The fish used is Alaskan pollock fillets.
Golden Corral is featuring an All-You-Can-Eat Butterfly Shrimp & Steak promotion running until April 19. Additional seafood options include Cajun Breaded Fried Fish, Seafood Cakes, and a lobster tail add-on for $7.99.
Jack in the Box is reintroducing the Moby Jack, a nostalgic item made with Panko-breaded wild Alaskan pollock, at a price of around $3.29 through April 5.
For those seeking a more upscale seafood experience, Luke’s Lobster, a Maine-based quick service chain, has opened locations in Santa Monica and Newport Beach. Known for its lobster rolls, the chain is also offering a limited-time lobster roll flight priced at about $39.
Lastly, Wendy’s has launched its Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich, made from Alaskan pollock, available for approximately $4.19 until April 5.
These promotions provide a wide array of seafood choices for consumers looking to observe Lent or simply enjoy fresh fish dishes. As restaurants continue to adapt to seasonal trends, these offerings reflect both traditional and innovative approaches to seafood dining.
