Dragonlance Legends Collector’s Edition Set for February 2026 Release
Fans of the iconic Dungeons & Dragons universe can look forward to the release of the Dragonlance Legends Collector’s Edition, scheduled to hit shelves on February 10, 2026. This new edition, published by Penguin Random House, will compile the classic trilogy of novels by authors Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman: Time of the Twins, War of the Twins, and Test of the Twins.
The Collector’s Edition will be available at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $40.00, offering readers a substantial value with over 1,100 pages of immersive storytelling in a single hardcover volume.
Resurgence of Dragonlance
The Dragonlance setting has experienced a notable revival in recent years, attracting both new and returning fans. The recent launch of Eberron: Forge of the Artificer has seen significant updates across various Dungeons & Dragons settings, including Dragonlance. Notably, Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen brought players back to the world of Krynn during the War of the Lance, while a new board game, Dragonlance: Warriors of Krynn, was also released, further expanding the lore and gameplay possibilities.
The original Dragonlance trilogy not only built on the fellowship mechanics found in The Lord of the Rings but also introduced well-developed characters that resonated with readers. The depth of storytelling and character development has made these novels a cornerstone of fantasy literature within the Dungeons & Dragons community.
Looking Ahead
The upcoming Collector’s Edition is not just a nostalgic trip for longtime fans but also serves as a bridge to future Dragonlance content. With new novels in the pipeline, expectations are high for additional developments in the tabletop role-playing game landscape. The sustained interest in Dragonlance suggests a promising future for both its literary and gaming experiences.
As the release date approaches, fans are encouraged to secure their copies and prepare for a journey back into the richly woven narratives that have defined Dragonlance for decades. With its blend of adventure, camaraderie, and epic storytelling, the Collector’s Edition promises to be a must-have for any Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast.
