Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Announce Split After 6 Years
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, stars of the reality television series Summer House, have announced their split after more than six years together. The couple shared their decision via a joint statement on social media, expressing a need for personal growth and healing while acknowledging the end of their romantic relationship.
The pair first crossed paths during the summer of 2015, prior to the show’s debut on Bravo in January 2017. Cooke initially joined the cast, and Batula made guest appearances before becoming a regular in season 2. Their romance quickly garnered attention, characterized by dramatic ups and downs, including infidelity and wedding delays.
From Romance to Reality TV Drama
In September 2018, Cooke and Batula became engaged, despite Cooke admitting to having been unfaithful earlier that year. Batula revealed in March 2019 that she had forgiven him, stating, “I have the ring, I know that he loves me… that’s all that matters.” The couple ultimately tied the knot in September 2021, after postponing their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Throughout their relationship, the couple’s journey was chronicled on Summer House and its spin-off series Winter House. Their public appearances often showcased a seemingly strong bond, but beneath the surface, challenges loomed. Rumors about marital issues surfaced in early 2026, leading to speculation about the state of their relationship.
In their joint announcement, the couple stated, “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple.” They requested privacy during this difficult time, despite having always been open about their relationship.
Reflection on Their Journey
Cooke and Batula’s relationship was marked by significant moments, including a shared passion for fostering dogs and navigating the pressures of reality television. Following their wedding, Batula expressed contentment with their life together, stating that they were in no rush to start a family. The couple adopted two rescue dogs, which they described as a joyful addition to their lives.
As they prepared for the eighth season of Summer House, Cooke hinted at a desire for change, mentioning aspirations for a family and a home outside of New York City. However, navigating their work-life balance was a challenge, leading Batula to step back from her role at Cooke’s business, Loverboy, to prioritize their relationship.
In the wake of their split, fans are left reflecting on the couple’s journey, which has been a mix of love, challenges, and growth. The announcement has sparked discussions among viewers, many of whom had followed their relationship closely over the years.
While Cooke and Batula prepare to embark on separate paths, their time together has become a significant chapter in the narrative of reality television romance.
