Bodybuilder Overpowers Tourists in Street Fight in Pattaya

A street fight in Pattaya, Thailand, recently escalated when a large bodybuilder knocked out two tourists outside a bar. The incident, which occurred on March 14, 2024, was captured on video, showing the muscular man engaging in a chaotic brawl with the tourists, who are believed to be British.

In the footage, the bodybuilder, dressed in a tight T-shirt and shorts, aggressively swung at the smaller men, one of whom collided with a parked truck while attempting to retreat. Witnesses reported that the confrontation erupted after the tourists left the bar, a common nightlife spot in the city known for its vibrant atmosphere and sometimes unruly behavior.

Kittirach Sangprasert, a witness to the altercation, described the scene, stating, “Around two or three people tried to gang up on a tall, muscular foreigner who was with a Thai woman. But, even though there were more of them, they couldn’t overpower him.” This statement highlights the significant size difference and fighting capability of the bodybuilder involved.

The two injured tourists, aged between 25 and 30, were taken to a local hospital following the incident. Reports indicate that one suffered a serious injury with a dislocated hip and facial lacerations, while the other was knocked unconscious during the fray. Both men received medical attention for their injuries.

Local authorities are now involved in the case. Jittisuk Suthenitatwong, the police chief of Pattaya, confirmed that officers will await the tourists’ recovery before conducting any interviews.
